Thank you very match for these. Patches are always very welcome. This patch
has been included in cvs2cl.pl 2.47 (appearing at a red-bean near you RSN).

I've opted not to include the short-form -G & -D options; we already have a
plethora of short-form options, and I want to reserve the remainder for the
more-commonly used options. Likewise, the -U short-form of --usermap is going
to get deprecated. I hope that's okay with you.
